Congratulations Cross Country Runners

  • "Congratulations to all the Hibriten cross country runners for posting personal bests and meet records at the Conference Championships yesterday.
Regarding the Girls' Cross Country team: Congratulations to McKenzie Lawrence and Sage Shiflett placing in the top 10 out of 57 runners and earning All-Conference Honors.  Most importantly, congratulations to the whole team for listening that every place and every member matters.  Because of their efforts they beat out West Iredell by 1 point to earn 5th place.  They have been last or 6th place at all the other conference meets, but ran their best at the championship when it mattered the most."
