  • Inclement Weather

This is a reminder of the inclement weather policy regarding college classes for CECHS students. In the event of inclement weather, students in grades 9-111 will follow the Caldwell County Schools weather schedule for college courses. Seniors and fifth year students are expected to follow the CCC&TI weather schedule for their college courses. When Caldwell County Schools are closed and CCC&TI is open, juniors, seniors, and fifth year students are responsible for attending class, unless it is canceled by the instructor. If a student is unable to attend the college class, he or she is responsible for contacting the instructor and completing the missed assignment.

For all students, please remember to check your college email and Moodle accounts in the event of inclement weather. Instructors will post assignments on Moodle, and students are responsible for checking Moodle promptly and for completing the posted assignments as instructed.

Most importantly, please remember that student safety comes first and exercise good judgment in traveling to and from the college campus in the event of inclement weather.
