High Schools in Caldwell County Schools
There are five high schools that serve students in grades 9 through 12 and one alternative school that serves students in grades 6 through 12. Click on the school name to be directed to the school's webpage.
The high school parent guide is available in the Document Manager. The parent guide provides lots of information for parents and students about high school such as graduation requirements and promotion requirements as well as information about the SAT and ACT.
Multi-Genre Research Project
Beginning with the graduating class of 2015, students in Caldwell County Schools are no longer required to do a graduation project. Instead, students will be completing a multi-genre research project in their English IV courses. As part of their multi-genre research project, students will research a topic, create artifacts through varous genres related to their topic, write a paper, and give a presentation.
Students will continue to write a research paper in their English III courses.
