KCS Kinder Crew

Hi!  I am Mrs. Smith.  I am the Kindergarten Grade teacher here at Kings Creek School.  I have taught here since 2008 and have loved every minute of it!  In the past, I have served Kings Creek as an Instructional Assistant, an Interventionist, as well as a First and Third Grade teacher.  The kids and this community have my heart!

In "real life" I am a wife, a mother of two and a sister of four girls.  I grew up in Happy Valley and am blessed to be raising my sons there as well.  In my spare time, I LOVE to craft!  I paint signs, make digital designs, draw and make wreaths.   I enjoy supporting my husband's high school wrestling team and going to football games at my alma mater, Appalachian State.

I am really excited to be in Kindergarten this year.  I am looking forward to developing positive relationships with the students that will encourage them to reach their highest potential! It is my goal to show the children in my classroom how to be good students as well as overall good human beings.
