The testing program for Caldwell County Schools is directed by Craig Bryson, Director of Accountability, Testing & Technology.  All state tests administered are mandated by state law, the State Board of Education and the State Department of Public Instruction .

State Tests Administered are:

• End of Grade Reading and Math - Grades 3 - 8
• End of Grade Science - Grades 5 & 8
• End of Course - High School
• Writing - Grades 4,7 & 10

Local Tests Administered are:

• Benchmark Assessments - Grades 3 - 8, US History, Civics, Biology
• In View - Grades 3 & 6
• Local Writing - Grades 3 & 6
