My name is Mrs. Ashley Jones. I am from Nantahala, NC and graduated from Murphy High School in Murphy, NC. I attended all 4 years of college at Western Carolina University and graduated there in 2011. I am married and have 3 kids as well as 2 fur babies. My son, Noah, is 6 years old and starting kindergarten. My daughter, Aubrey, is 4  years old. I have 2 boxers. Ace is my gorgeous white boxer who is 10 years old and I have a female, Miss Jasmine who is 6 years old. I LOVE basketball, hiking, and spending time outdoors in my free time. I go back and visit Nantahala as often as I can considering it's beautiful there and my entire family lives there. I worked in the medical field before my teaching career and loved it. Teaching is my second career. I have a passion for helping others, science, and the medical field. I hope to make a difference among my students, teaching them that science can be a beautiful and fun subject to learn and surrounds us everywhere. This is my 5th year teaching and I've taught biology (my favorite), chemistry,  forensic science and earth environmental science.
