Hi!

My name is Braesia Rhyder and I am so excited to be here at Granite Falls Middle School. I am originally from Catawba County, but I began working here in December of 2020 and have been here every since. I am a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Appalachian State University. There, I received a BS in Middle Grades Education.  I have experience in both 7th and 8th grade ELA and Social Studies and have worked in 3 surrounding counties. I enjoy traveling to new places and trying new foods with my husband. I cannot wait to begin a new year with the Blue Demons!
