  • Summer Feeding Program

The U.S. Department of Agriculture offers free summer meals to kids across North Carolina similar to the School lunch program, except the meals are free to all kids that come to the registered sites. Meals are FREE to all children 18 and under. Free summer meals will help families save money and stretch their already tight budgets. Food served at the sites meet the USDA guidelines. Parents DO NOT need to apply to the program to get a free summer meal for their kids. They simply have to come by a site. For questions call Caldwell County Schools Child Nutrition Dept. Donna Powell or Guy Garner 728-8407
