    • Students and family members can join the Kings Creek School Group Page (search under "groups") to view updated and real-time pictures, videos, and important information.
    • Everyone can like and follow the Kings Creek School PTO Page at
  • It's very important to wash your hands often.

Our students are learning all about safe practices

to avoid getting sick during health classes

and our teachers are reinforcing these practices in all classes.

    You can help!

Parents can help us by helping your child to remember:

    • Wash your hands properly and wash them often!

    • Try to keep out of other people's space (if you can touch them, you are too close!)

    • Sneeze and cough into your elbow.

    • Don't share food or drinks.

Parents can help us avoid the spread of disease by remembering:

    • Students must be fever-free for at least 24 hours before returning to school.  If a child is taking Tylenol/Ibuprofen or any other fever-reducing medication, then do not count that time as they must be fever-free without the help of medication.  It doesn't matter if a student has started an antibiotic or not, count off at least 24 hours since their temperature returned to NORMAL before returning to school.

    • Students must not have any vomiting or diarrhea for at least 24 hours before returning to school.

If we all work together, we CAN keep our precious children HEALTHY!

    How long are 20 seconds?

Hum or sing the "Happy Birthday" song two times!

School Announcements

  • As student safety and health is our first concern and our district remains committed to keeping your children safe, CCS has directed that Caldwell County Middle Schools will follow the statewide directive posted today from the NCHSAA (NCHS Athletic Association) for middle school sports in Caldwell County.

This means that there will be no practice, workouts, open gym, or competitions of any time until after April 6th, 2020.

We appreciate your support for our school and thank you for understanding and patience as we all work together to keep our children safe and healthy!
    >>>> CHAPEL HILL, NC - Due to the threat from COVID-19, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA) has made the decision to postpone the 2020 Men’s and Women’s Basketball State Championships indefinitely.
“As much as we would like this opportunity for our student-athletes, coaches, and their communities, we know that ultimately any decision we make must err on the side of caution,” said Commissioner Que Tucker.
The Board of Directors also moved to suspend interscholastic athletics beginning at 11:59 p.m. on Friday, March 13, 2020, through Monday, April 6th, 2020. The NCHSAA Board of Directors will assess this situation regularly over the next few weeks. This includes all workouts, skill development, practices, and contests.<<<<

Give it to KCS Band!  We would like to have "house instruments" for our students to use when they can't afford one of their own.  Did you play flute in high school, but now don't play at all?  Did Great Aunt Gertrude play the French Horn back in the day, but still has it in her closet, even though she hasn't played in 50 years?  Give these instruments chance at a new life in the hands of our students!  Contact Mark Crump ( if you have something for us!
