  • Summer Bridge Academy 2023

    Summer Bridge Academy is a unique opportunity for students who will be in 6th grade, 9th grade, and 12th grade in the 2023-2024 school year.  This experience is open to all Caldwell County Schools students who will be in these grade levels.  Students will prepare for their upcoming grade level while engaging in interactive, meaningful activities throughout eight days. Students will be asked to commit to attending all eight days. Breakfast, lunch, and transportation will be provided.

    Runs from June 19 - 29   
    Monday - Thursday

  • Caldwell Online Academy Accepting Applications

    Starting with the 2023-24 school year, Caldwell County Schools' existing online learning program will become a fully separate school known as Caldwell Online Academy (COA). This is a FREE online public school option for rising 4th-12th graders who meet eligibility requirements.
    Apply today. APPLICATIONS are currently being accepted now through March 31, 2023, for rising 4th-12th graders who want to become Caldwell Online Academy Chargers next year!  Go here for ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS.
    The school will feature dedicated teachers with live student interaction, online clubs for all grade levels, and optional in-person events held periodically. School Chromebooks will be provided to every student, and Wi-Fi hotspots are available as needed.

  • Parent Portal - 24/7 Access to Student Information - Update Contact Info

    Grades, Attendance and Assignments

    Parent Portal UPDATE parent contact information so you won't miss messages from your child's school or districtwide announcements, especially emergency alerts.

    Click here for Parent Portal.

    Log in and fill out the Update Student Information under the Transfer Application tab, and we will import the new information into the system. With Parent Portal, you can also access your student's attendance, grades, assignments, and more. This portal gives parents and students access to real-time student data - no need to wait for progress reports. You have access to grades every day! 

    Make sure your phone numbers, emails, address, and other contact information is up-to-date, so you can receive important phone calls, emails, and texts regarding school programs, special events and reminders. ONLY with your current information in the Parent Portal can you receive emergency phone calls, emails, and texts on critical matters, such as schedule changes - delays, closures, and early release.

    The Education Foundation Inc of Caldwell County awarded five 2023 spring Community Education Grants during the Foundation's awards luncheon meeting held on Tuesday, Mar 12, 2023. Congratulations to the following: Alison Milstead and Holly Jones, Hudson Elementary School; Rebecca Tester, Gamewell Elementary; Carolina Bennett, West Caldwell High School; Karla Starnes, Davenport A+; and Will Freeman, Davenport A+ School.

    Google Teams Up with Betabox Learning to Launch STEM TOUR - Kickoff in Lenoir and Caldwell County Schools Tour

    Google is teaming up with Betabox Learning, a leading provider of mobile STEM labs, to launch a STEM tour of North Carolina school districts. The tour begins this week with middle schools in Caldwell County Schools and then schools across the state will also benefit from hands-on learning experiences for students in grades K-12.

    Elementary and Middle School Teams Battle Over Books

    The 2023 Battle of the Books Competition for elementary and middle school students was held on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at Living Hope Church with nearly 150 students participating in a battle to win over their opponents by answering questions about the books they read on the official book list provided by the North Carolina School Library Media Association.
