The face masking status for the week of January 24 - 28 is REQUIRED for students and staff.
The school district will use a three-week rolling average of the positivity rate of students and staff, and if that rate is above 0.5 percent, then masks are required.

School Improvement Goals 2021-2022
- Increase student growth as measured by state assessments within two years.
- Academic, behavioral and social emotional support through the use of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) throughout the school.
- Appropriate instruction through development of engaging instructional plans aligned with the North Carolina Standard Course of Study provided in each classroom every day.
- Social/emotional support through social emotional training including: Student Services Team (HELP <Helping Every Little Person>), monthly counseling lessons, character education lessons and recognition, professional development, stakeholder meetings, Professional Learning Community (PLC) meetings, Panorama surveys, open and timely conversations, and collaboration with stakeholders.

If your child is sick, not feeling well, or under the weather they will have to complete a 10 day quarantine OR go to the doctor/urgent care to get a note to release them to come back to school before the 10 days is complete.
