Hi! I am Janice Citrin and I am a K-5 Resource teacher and this is my sixth year at Dudley Shoals. I am excited for another great year! I graduated from Lynchburg College, with a degree in Special Education and Psychology and have taught everything from Pre-K through High School for over 20 years.
I am originally from Newtown, Connecticut, but have lived in North Carolina for the last 24 years. The last 15 of them have been in Caldwell County. My husband, Kris, and I have been married for 21 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters. Madison is a student at NC State University, studying Zoology (Go Pack!) and Alexa is a Senior at South Caldwell High School. Our family is completed by our 2 dogs - a 10 year old Cock-a-poo named Daisy, and a 1 year old Miniature Schnauzer named Finnegan.
I love being on the lake, going for walks, cooking for my family, reading, and watching Carolina Panthers and Nebraska Cornhuskers football games!
The best times to contact me by phone is between 7:30-8:00 am and 2:00-3:00 pm, or email me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org with questions or concerns.
I look forward to another great year at DSES!
