• Every child learns differently and through a variety of methods. It is our practice to incorporate various teaching strategies to ensure we engage every type of learner. Instructional methods may include the use of music, movement, sensory activities, one-on-one, large, and small groups activities and more.
  • One-on-one time is spent with each child daily. This gives each child individual "instruction" with a variety of skills and gives us a better idea of where a child is in different areas of development.

  • Games are another great way for preschoolers to learn important skills such as learning colors, shapes, numbers, counting, alphabet, etc.,but mostly sharing, turn-taking and following directions.
  • Large group activities are also a part of our day. Large group activities could be calendar and weather, experiments, stories and literacy activities, etc.
  • Large group activities encourage listening and participation skills.
