Summer Meals for Children 0 to 18
With only four days left in the school year, plans are well underway to continue meals for students and children from birth to 18 years old during the summer months.
Similar to last June, meal boxes consisting of five breakfast and lunch meals and one gallon of milk per child will be available on Wednesdays at two locations: Gamewell Elementary and Hudson Middle School. The drive-thru distribution times are 11:30 am to 1:30 pm and 3:30-5:30 pm.
Students who are enrolled in summer school or WrapAround do not qualify. There will be no distribution the week of July 4-8. Starting July 11 through August 19, lunch will be offered to children 0 to 18 years of age at the following sites: Martin Luther King Center, Mulberry Park, and Redwood Park. More details to follow.
Summer meals are provided by the CCS Child Nutrition Department and funded by the USDA.
