Susan Keller is a graduate from Glenville State College with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  She continued her love for learning and earned a Masters Degree in Reading Education from Appalachian Universtiy.  In 1993, she also earned National Board certification.  She has taught many different grade levels during her professional reign.  She currently is teaching 1st grade and enjoys the demands of teaching children to read, and write.  She engulfs the everyday task of motivating children to solve real world problems, and savors the hugs and smiles of 6 and 7 year olds.  She lives in Lenoir and is married with four children.
