Born in Fayetteville, NC, I relocated to Lenoir in 2002 from Flagstaff, AZ. I received my B.S. in Zoology from Northern Arizona University in 1999 and my M.A. in Educational Media from Appalachian State University in 2011. I have been a classroom teacher and the Instructional Technology Facilitator at Hibriten since 2009. In addition to teaching and technology, I'm proud to be a founder of the Caldwell County Black Bears, our NICA affiliated middle and high school mountain bike racing team.
