My name is Vicki Hodge Jetton.  I live in the beautiful town of Granite Falls.  As a child, I attended Baton Elementary, Hudson Middle, and South Caldwell.  I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education (K-6) at Appalachian State University.  My first teaching job was at Hildebran Elementary School.  While I was teaching, I earned my Master’s Degree from ASU in Reading (K-12).  Go Mountaineers!  My next step was to apply for National Board Certification.  In November of 2000, I became a NBCT in Early Childhood Generalist.  Since then I have taught at Ray Childers Elementary, Sawmills Elementary, and Caldwell Early College High School.  As a teacher of 27 years of experience, I am now teaching at Granite Falls Elementary. 

I am happily married to David Jetton.  We have been married for seventeen years.  As a child, my husband attended Hudson Elementary, Middle, and South Caldwell.   Dave is also a North Carolina State University graduate.  Go Wolfpack!  He is a production supervisor for Carpenter.  Dave and I enjoy spending time with each other.  We spend time together as a family by boating and camping. 

We are also two very proud parents of two daughters.  They are the best thing that ever happened to us!  Rachel, my 14 year old, loves to play softball, volleyball, and go camping.  Rebecca, my 8 year old, loves to play softball, go campaing, and spend time with the family.
