Mrs. Robin Copeland
Over the course of Mrs. Copeland’s nineteen years as a public-school educator, she has taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, and 6th grade in Massachusetts, Illinois, and North Carolina. This is Mrs. Copeland’s third year at William Lenoir Middle and her ninth year teaching 6th grade.
Mrs. Copeland was born and raised in Massachusetts. After graduating high school, Mrs. Copeland continued her education at Berkshire Christian College in Lenox. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Theology with a concentration in Elementary Education. After several years serving as a substitute teacher, Mrs. Copeland was hired as a self-contained 6th grade teacher. During this time, Mrs. Copeland became a single parent after her first husband lost his cancer battle.
Mrs. Copeland has been married to her best friend, Bob, for over 30 years. They are the proud parents of three married sons. Her oldest son, Bradley, is a sixth-grade social studies teacher in Johnston County, NC. He and his wife, Danielle, have two sons and two daughters. Their middle son, Luke, is a pastor at Central Advent Christian Church in Lenoir. He and his wife, Lindsey, have one daughter and two sons. Their youngest son, Ross, is a physical therapist. He and his wife, Amanda, live in downtown Chicago.
When Mrs. Copeland is not at school, she is an active member at Tabernacle Advent Christian Church where her husband pastors. In her leisure time, she enjoys nature, baking, and listening to music.
