Our Nation's Capital
We are very excited about our 8th grade field trip to Washington, DC! We will be going to Washington, DC on April 22nd and returning on April 24th. All of the current information on Monday, August 26th (First Day of School), which included a tentative trip schedule, payment schedule, and much more. Students were given a scholarship form worth $50 of the total cost of their trip. If you turn in this sheet, please make sure all of the information is filled out. We need this sheet as soon as possible, but this payment will not be applied until the final payment. Second Payment of $100 due November 1st.
Butter Braid Fundraiser forms and money due Wednesday, October 30th. A profit of $6 is earned for the student's individual trip per Butter Braid sold.
Parents who are interested in being a chaperone need to let me know ASAP (email will be fine). The cost of the chaperone trip is $600. We also ask that you submit you $100 deposit as soon as possible. A background check will be needed for every chaperone, unless you already have one on file with Caldwell County Schools. We will need a copy of a current background check prior to the trip.
The payment schedule is as follows:
*October 4th - $100 (non-refundable deposit)
*November 1st - $100
*December 6th -$100
*January 10th - $100
*February 7th - $125 (OR $75 payment with Scholarship Form of $50 due at this time).
*Chaperones may make their additional payment at any time before (or on) February 1st.
**Refunds will NOT be given after March 1st.**
