Hi!  I'm Kami Sanderlin, and this is my second year teaching at Horizons Elementary School.  I teach Second Grade.  I love being on this journey of learning and growing with my students!

I grew up in Ashe County, North Carolina.  I went to college at Berea College in Kentucky where I earned a bachelor's degree in Political Science.  Later, I moved with my husband to Georgia and earned a masters degree at Georgia Southern University. 

I am married to Sascha Sanderlin who teaches German at Hibriten High School.  I have three children--Lukas, Ian, and Laney, and our cat--Batman.  My husband and I met each other playing soccer at Berea, and we still enjoy soccer today by coaching a boys' classic soccer team through the Lenoir Force.
