Mrs. Dana Ishuin-Lail

Dana Ishuin-Lail, I am a dedicated educator, was born in the state of New Jersey and has called North Carolina home for the majority of my life. I am happily married to Michael Lail, and together we share a beautiful 15-year-old daughter, Abigail. Our household is complete with the delightful presence of two dogs, Goober and Chewy, and two charming cats, Stella and Bella.

With a passion for nurturing young minds, I continue with my sixth year in education. I began with three years of teaching experience in 2nd Grade. Building upon this foundation, I then transitioned to teaching K-8 STEM for an additional two years, delving into the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science from the University of Phoenix, showcasing my commitment to academic excellence. Eager to enhance my teaching skills and contribute more to the field of education, I earned my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction for Integrated STEM from Purdue University.

This academic journey has equipped me with a wealth of knowledge and innovative teaching methods that I now bring to my role as the STEM Coordinator at CASA. Joining the CASA family this year, I am thrilled to contribute my expertise and play a pivotal role in the school's pursuit of STEM School of Distinction Recognition.
