Summer Feeding Sites for 2020 begin on June 9, 2020 and go through August 4, 2020. Sites will be closed June-29 through July-3 in observance of July 4th.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture offers free summer meals to kids across North Carolina similar to the School Lunch Program, except the meals are FREE to all kids that come to the registered sites.
- Meals are FREE to all children 18 and under.
- FREE Summer Meals will help families save money and stretch their already tight budgets.
- Food served at the sites meet USDA Guidelines.
- Parents DO NOT need to apply to the program to get a free summer meal for their kids. They simply have to come by one of the sites. For Questions call Caldwell County Schools Child Nutrition Department. Donna Powell or Guy Garner 828-728-8407.
