  • Are your courses hard?

    Posted by:
Like any subject, some students naturally do better than others. CAD isn't hard but it is precise and it does require patience and very close attention to detail. Problem solving skills are a must!

  • How much math is involved?

    Posted by:
Not as much as you may think! You must be able to do basic arithmetic -add, subtract, multiply & divide. Some knowledge of geometry is very helpful. You will work with fractions (4 3/8), decimals (5.37), and the metric system (46mm).

  • How much homework will I have?

    Posted by:
Homework is very unlikely due to the nature of our course. On rare occasions, homework may include a brief writing and/or research assignment. Students are always encouraged to review their notes and any other study materials outside of class.

None, however it is highly recommended for students to bring a flash drive to store and back up their electronic files. Students are required to bring some type of notebook daily.

  • What exactly is a CCP course?

    Posted by:
The Career & College Promise legislation allows high school students to take classes that can earn them both high school and college credit at the same time. This is a great opportunity to begin building their college transcript right here on South Caldwell's campus!
