Community Services
-
The Community Services Department provides information and resources in support of and to advance the goals and successful outcomes of public education, resulting in a clearer understanding of the levels of involvement from families and the community and their important role in student learning. They join together to encircle students with the most effective educational services and opportunities in the Caldwell County Schools.
Some of the specific goals of Community Services include:
- Prepare and report information on school policies, programs, procedures, advancements, and critical actions affecting education
- Foster cooperative relationships between the Caldwell County Schools and community agencies
- Provide prompt, accurate information through media/social sources and public domains
- Encourage volunteerism and parent involvement in all schools
Community participation is interconnected to student achievement. Working together, we will provide the highest quality of educational program services for students. We utilize every opportunity to include parents in the educational process while being responsive to the structure of the family and the needs of our community.
