Teachers and parents agree that Class Dojo gets an A+!!!
I do almost all reminders, updates, positive and negative behavior notifications and communications through Class Dojo. At the beginning of the year, I will send you a paper copy of your username and password so you can sign up. Throughout the year, please let me know if you are ever unable to sign on. This is the best way to stay in touch and up-to-date thoughout the school year!
(This may be subject to change for the 17-18 school year.)

~AR: Students will need to read for at least 30 minutes Monday through Thursday and have parents to sign their AR folder.
~Math: Students will practice skills learned in class at least one night each week. Work will consist of no more than 10 practice problems.
~Spelling: Words are studied for two weeks before a test is given. Check your child's spelling list for specific test dates. Students need to study their spelling words throughout the week in order to be prepared to the upcoming test.
~Wordly Wise: We test on Wordly Wise Vocabulary units about every 3 to 4 weeks. A Dojo message will be sent out letting you know when your child needs to be preparing at home.
~Prefixes/Suffixes: Up until about Christmas break, students will learn a new prefix or suffix in class daily. We will test on prefixes and suffixes at the end of each school week. Therefore, students need to study on Thursday evenings (more if needed). The tests will be cumulative until we master them all (about 50).
~Work Folders: Students will bring their work folders home on Mondays. Parents should look through their child's work and return the folder signed on Monday.
