A WALK TO REMEMBER, by Nicholas Sparks

A walk to remember is a tragic beautiful love story, as most of Spark's books are.  It takes place in Beaufort, NC and is a compelling story about the tragedy and unfairness of life, and the power and depth of the human heart.  The story is about the romance that occurs with Landon Carter, a known ladies' man and the town bad boy, and jamie Sullivan, a shy preacher's daughter.  The unlikely romance grows, and takes a tragic twist.  The book is a bittersweet spiritual love story that will leave you wanting more.  If you need a good cry or are looking for a good love story, this is the book to check out. This is my fourth book by Chris Bohjalian and he hasn't disappointed me yet. The Double Bind provides insight into the world of the homeless through the eyes of a young woman who is convinced one of her clients photographs are tied to her past. Beautifully written, this book provides a totally unexpected, yet totally believable ending - an ending you won't see coming! Enjoy this haunting journey where fact and fiction are undistinguishable.
