2. Have you had any of the following symptoms: fever, chills, shortness of breath, new cough, and/or new loss of taste or smell?
3. Have you been diagnosed with COVID- 19?
Anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 or who may have been exposed to COVID-19 should not come to school.
Thank you all for your patience during this unusual and stressful period. We look forward to being back with our students whether in person or remotely. We have missed them! We also look forward to seeing our newest 6th graders!
We are asking you to help us gather accurate contact information for your student(s) for this upcoming school year. We want this year to be a successful and positive one for our students, staff and parents. Please share this google document with our GFMS parents. We also understand if you feel more comfortable sending the information through email or in a phone call. Please email email@example.com or call Angela Allen at 828 - 396 - 2341.
Thank you again for your continued support. We appreciate you!
Attention all parents of 6th-grade students only
I am calling to let you know of the immunization requirement for all current 6th graders. All 6th-grade students must receive a Meningitis and a Tdap vaccine prior to starting their 7th grade school year. Please make plans to have this done as soon as possible with your doctor or at the Health Dept. Don't forget to get documentation that your child has received these immunizations. You may get this completed any time before school begins this August. Please provide proof of your child’s current vaccinations to the school’s office and it will be documented that your child’s requirement has been met and they are ready for 7th grade! So please take care of this quickly and get your child vaccinated prior to starting next school year.
Thank you for your timely attention to this important matter.
Many retailers will donate money to our school just for shopping with them. Click on the headline to find out which ones!
GFMS would appreciate your support!
