• Here are the pictures from my week in Cullowhee at the North Carolina for the Advancement of Teaching. NCCAT is a state funded center for teachers who want to learn more about certain topics. I chose to attend a workshop on apples. We learned about the old apples of North Carolina along with the commercial varieties grown now. I made homemade apple cider, applesauce, apple butter, apple chips, and lots of pastries! It was a great week spent near my alma mater, Western Carolina University. And of course....I fished!
