Hi! I am excited to say that this is my 29th year teaching. I have been in a school setting for almost my entire life. I love my job and the students who I am blessed to teach. I taught at William Lenoir Middle School for 20 years before moving to Hibriten. I have both my National Boards and Master's Degree in English.  I am certified to teach both English and Social Studies at the middle and high school levels. Appalachian State University is where I received both my undergraduate and master's degree.  I currently teach Communication Skills, English 1, ACT Prep, and Speech and Debate at Hibriten.
