Hi! I am Janice Citrin and I am a K-5 Resource teacher and this is my third year at Dudley Shoals. I am excited for another great year! I graduated from Lynchburg College, with a degree in Special Education and Psychology and have taught everything from Pre-K through High School over the past 20 years.
I am originally from Newtown, Connecticut, but have lived in North Carolina for the last 21 years. The last 13 of them have been in Caldwell County. My husband, Kris, and I have been married for 18 years and we have 2 beautiful daughters. Madison is a Junior and Alexa is a Freshman at South Caldwell High School. Our 8 year old Cockapoo, Daisy, completes our family.
When I'm not at school, I am usually on the sidelines of a soccer field or in the audience of a musical theater production. We also love football, cheering for the Nebraska Cornhuskers on Saturday and the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
The best times to contact me by phone is between 7:30-8:00am and 1:40-3:00pm, or email me anytime with questions or concerns.
