Mrs. Kim Hindman
Welcome to my web page. I would like to let you know a little about myself. I earned my undergraduate degree at East Carolina University and my Master's degree at Appalachian State University. I have been married for 23 years to my husband, Keith, and I have two children (ages 13 and 18), a dog named Steve, and a cat named Tigger. I grew up in Caldwell County, lived and taught in Greenville, NC for a few years, and moved back to raise my own family.
This is year number 25 for me and I am still passionate about middle school. In grades 6-8, young adolescents are discovering who they are. They question everything, can be moody and hormonal, and value friendships even more. Even though the middle grade years can be challenging, I feel honored to be part of shaping the people they are becoming. I will work hard to ensure they learn academically, but I will also work to help students emotionally and socially during this developmental time.
