EXPERIENCE
I have been teaching for the past 7 years. I started out teaching Middle Grades Mathematics in Panama City, Panama. When my wife and I moved back to North Carolina I taught Math Remediation and STEM at Wellcome Middle School in Greenville. NC. Once my daughter was born we moved to Caldwell County and took the Engineering job at Hudson Middle. Then in 2019 I got the great opportunity to come to Gamewell Middle to build up the Engineering program.
FAVORITE EDUCATIONAL QUOTE AND WHY 
 “The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not 'Eureka' but 'That's funny . . .'”  - Isaac Asimov. I love this quote because it plays into the fact that discovering ideas, concepts, and functions should not be an end of itself. But lead to delving deeper into more mysteries.
WHY I BECAME AN EDUCATOR
 I became an educator because I love helping people learn new skills. The excitement that comes from a student who gets a program to work or a robot to move through a maze is a special sight. It is my hope that students learn the joy that comes through preservering when learning new skills.
FAVORITE PLACE IN CALDWELL COUNTY
Caldwell County Public Library is a top location for our family due to their awesome staff and selection.  Broyhill Walking Park - Enjoy a nice stroll and watch the ducks and turtles. The various rivers and ponds in the county where we can go kayaking are also my favorite spots. 
ACTIVITIES 
Hiking, reading, kayaking, and spending time with my family.
