I have worked in the Caldwell County School System for 24 years. I have worked in both elementary and middle schools throughout the county.

Every child is gifted...they just unwrap their packages at different times.
Students are more than just a test score. I have worked with all different kinds of students, and I love helping them discover their unique abilities.

Why I Became an Educator 
I come from a long line of educators that go back four generations. I have had amazing role models and teachers that challenged and encouraged me to always do my best. I remember playing school when I was four years old, and thinking that school should always be fun. Our best and brightest need to keep that sense of wonder and engagement in the classroom. This is why I teach.
