Mr. Bill Schreiber
Mr. Schreiber is entering his 11 th year as a principal in Caldwell County. Previously, he served as the principal of the Caldwell Career Center Middle College and Granite Falls Middle School. At both schools, he led a faculty dedicated to inclusive educational settings focused on "hands-on, minds-on" engagement of students with science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) education. In his 18th year in public education, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, a Masters of Arts degree in School Administration. Prior to working in public education, Bill spent 23 years in the United States Navy. He is a member of the NC Principals and Assistant Principals Association, the Association of Middle Level Education and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. He is active in the local community serving as the President of the Granite Falls Rotary Club, Chairman of the Autistic Education Foundation a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping teachers of autistic students; as well as serving as a Deacon at St. Aloysius Catholic church where he is active in youth ministry. Additionally, he enjoys the outdoors, sports and inspiring students to reach their highest potential.
