Mr. Bill Schreiber
Bill Schreiber is in his 9th year as a principal in Caldwell County. Previously, he served as the principal of the Caldwell Career Center Middle College and Granite Falls Middle School. At both schools, he led a faculty dedicated to inclusive educational settings focused on "hands-on, minds-on" engagement of students with science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) education. In his 15th year in public education, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business, a Masters of Arts degree in School Administration and is currently pursuing his doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gardner-Webb University. Prior to working in public education, Bill spent 23 years in the United States Navy. Bill is a member NC Principals and Assistant Principals Association, the Association of Middle Level Education and the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development. He is active in the local community serving as secretary and President-elect of the Granite Falls Rotary Club, President of the Autistic Education Foundation a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to helping teachers of autistic students; as well as serving as a Deacon at St. Aloysius Catholic church where he is active in youth ministry. Additionally, he enjoys the outdoors, sports and inspiring students to reach their highest potential.
