Thinking of Joining the CECHS Family?
Caldwell Early College High School is an innovative high school created out of a partnership between Caldwell County Schools and Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute (CCC&TI) and is located on the CCC&TI campus.
At Caldwell Early College High School, students commit to complete the program and the expectation that they will earn a high school diploma, a two year college transfer associate’s degree, and from here to go on to complete a four year college degree. We believe that a college education is essential to success in the 21st century.
We are a small innovative high school that puts relationships first. We believe that all students can and will succeed when they have caring and supportive adults in their life who challenge them and refuse to let failure be an option. Students enter by application, and are selected to represent the academic, ethnic, geographic, and socio-economic diversity of our county not just the top of the class.
Students work in teams on projects that often include multiple subjects or grade levels. We go beyond the four walls of the classroom, expanding students’ learning into the real world. Our program integrates service learning into our curriculum with students volunteering in over twenty community agencies like nursing homes, elementary schools, and shelter homes.
It’s very exciting and rewarding to watch our students meet and exceed the high expectations we set for them! We hope that you will consider the CECHS program during your 8th grade year.
Vision: Caldwell Early College High School will graduate all of its students ready for college, ready for career, and ready for life.
Mission: Caldwell Early College High School will provide a learning community where students believe that educators know them, care about them, and expect them to succeed.
