I have been working in the school system since 2012 and most of that time I have been at Whitnel Elementary School. I have worked in EC and all grades throughout that time period as well as taught computers. I attended ASU at night (one class at a time)  to get my Bachelor of Science in K-6 Elementary Education. Graduating during Covid was difficult, yet still special to me because it meant I could follow my desire to show children how exciting it is to learn, build their knowledge, and never give up on their dreams! I have enjoyed teaching second grade and I'm really excited to go on the journey with the students this year into the ocean and space as we explore the third grade curriculum. Whitnel has become my home and I love the students, staff, community and families that make up this special part of Caldwell County. I am so excited to be able to work here and I am excited to be able to work with your children.
