Ellen Church

I graduated in May 2005 from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (K-6). I graduated in December 2010 from Appalachian State University with a Master of Arts degree in Special Education (K-12). My current North Carolina teaching certifications are as follows: Elementary Education (K-6); Mentally Handicapped (K-12); Behavioral/Emotional Handicapped (K-12); Special Education: General Curriculum; Special Education: Adapted Curriculum.

I began teaching in August 2005 at Mountain View Elementary in Catawba County. I taught there for six years in a variety of exceptional children's classrooms with students in grades K-6. In August 2011, I was transferred to Lyle Creek Elementary, also in Catawba County, where I taught students in grades K-6 in an exceptional children's classroom for two years. In August 2013, I came to Davenport A+ Elementary in Caldwell County. I taught in an exceptional children's classroom there with students in grades K-5 for two years. I transferred to Sawmills Elementary in August 2015 to an exceptional children's classroom where I currently teach students in grades 3-5.
