Severe Weather - Be Ready
Message from the Superintendent of Schools:During any severe or unsafe weather conditions, schools may change their operational status to a delay, early release or cancellation. This decision will be communicated to families immediately. We work closely with emergency agencies in Caldwell County to protect and safeguard families. Below are online sites that we recommend for prompt action during a threatening weather event. Your immediate family comes first, and we also encourage you to check on neighbors, extended family, and friends, especially those who may be sick, incapacitated or elderly. We appreciate all the support from the American Red Cross, Department of Social Services, the Caldwell County Health Department, local law enforcement and the emergency services for their coordinated efforts to ensure that residents in Caldwell County are assisted and notified during emergencies. The school district values its partnership with each of these agencies, and we are grateful for their dedicated service in keeping families safe and secure. With great appreciation,Dr. Don Phipps
