Mrs. Erica Hawes
My name is Erica Hawes and I am the School Counselor for students in grades 10th-12th, whose last name starts with P-Z. This is my third year at South Caldwell High School and I am excited to be here! I have previously worked in Burke and Union County as a School Counselor at the elementary level. I attended Appalachian State University for both my undergraduate and graduate studies, where I received a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) degree in Child Psychology and a Masters of Art (M.A.) degree in Professional School Counseling. I also have my Advanced degree in Professional School Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor.
My goal is to help all students in the areas of academic achievement, personal/social development and career development. High school is the final transition into adulthood and I aim to assist students during this time in exploring their options for the future.
If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me or schedule an appointment through Ms. Byrd at firstname.lastname@example.org.
