Hi. I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Gamewell Elementary and Gamewell Middle Schools. This is my fourth year working for the Caldwell County School System. I have been in practice 24 years having both medical SLP and educational SLP experience. Prior to working in the schools I worked primarily as a clinical therapist for home health and nursing homes. I continue to work PRN for skilled nursing facilities.  My husband and I have three children, ranging in age from 11 to 19. I enjoy working with the all of the staff and students at GES and GMS. 

The caseload between GES and GMS is large. I am fortunate to have a caring, capable, trust-worthy assistant working with me. Mrs. Debra C. Helton is my Speech-Language Pathology Assistant. Debra obtained her Associates degree from Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. This is 5th year working in the CCS system. Debra is married and has two daughters and one granddaughter.
