I was born and raised in Elkin, North Carolina. I graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in History/Social Studies Education. In 2017, I began my teaching career at CECHS where I teach American History I. History has always been a passion of mine, and I absolutely love having the opportunity to teach and discuss it with students. By understanding and analyzing our past experiences as a human race, I wholeheartedly believe we can become better citizens in our current, modern world.

When I am not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time in the gym or doing basically anything outdoors.
