I have been a teacher for twenty years in Catawba county.  This is my second year at Granite Falls Middle.  I love it here!  I grew up in Caldwell county and attended South Caldwell High School.  My dad taught and coached at South Caldwell for 37 years.  After high school, I attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  My degree is in Exercise and Sport Science/Physical Education.  I received my teaching license at Appalachian State University.  I am blessed to have a beautiful family.  My son and daughter both go to school in Caldwell county and are my pride and joy.  I enjoy working out, hunting, and fishing in the free time that I have!
