Hello! My name is Chandler Smith and I am the current Choral Director here at Hudson Middle School. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Lenoir-Rhyne University & also have my Master's Degree in Teaching. This is my 2nd year as a teacher here at HMS. In my spare time I participate in an ensemble called the Hickory Choral Society. We have concerts throughout the year singing a variety of choral music. As a teacher, I believe it is important for us to advance our craft so that we can be better for the students that we teach.

I grew up in western North Carolina and have lived here all of my life. I am grateful for the opportunity to give back to the Hudson community and I hope you will give me and all of the awesome chorus students your support on their journey to becoming better musicians & individuals.
