Hello! I am the 6th-8th grade Science and Social Studies teacher at King's Creek School. I am orginially from Byron Center, Michigan; however, I recently moved from Greenville, North Carolina to Boone, North Carolina with my wife Holly. I graduated from Liberty University in the fall of 2019 with two Bachelors Degrees in History and Western Legal Traditions. I am currently pursuing a Master's Degree in International Relations at American University with the intention of also learning Korean. 

I enjoy travelling the world and experiencing new cultures. My travels have taken me to Guatemala, Mexico, California, Maine, and Canada. For me, teaching is a great way to show students the breadth, and depth, of the world around them. It is exciting to have your student in my class, and I hope they learn more about Science/Social Studies over the course of this year.
