This is my 25th year with Caldwell County Schools. I received my undergrad from WCU in 1999 in Elementary Ed. I have my Master's from ASU, and I am National Board Certified. I have been teaching gifted students for the past 16 years at multiple schools in the county.

My grandmother, mother, aunts, and sister were all educators. It is something that I aspired to become after watching them make such a difference in the lives of others. I have always loved school, and I love to watch students get excited about learning.

Any ballfield where my son is playing! I also love the top of Hibriten Mountain.

I enjoy reading by my pool and swimming. I love to travel and experience new things.
