I earned my teaching degree from Kent State University. I am also certified and trained in the Academically and Intellectually Gifted program. I moved to North Carolina to teach in 2003 from Ohio.  I taught for 13 years in Catawba County in both first grade and kindergarten before coming to Hudson Elementary in August, 2016.  I enjoy working with first graders and teaching them a love of reading!  I am especially excited to use reading aross the curriculum to create life long learners!
