Remember to purchase your parking pass by TODAY from Mr. Hosfield, or you may be in danger of parking tickets next week

TODAY is the last day to purchase your yearbook for $65 and 4 free icons. See Ms. Storie or purchase on-line at www.jostens.com

Students interested in Book Club or High School Battle of the Books need to see Mrs. Bowman or Mrs. Craven before next Thursday!

ROTC students: Friday: Drill 3-4:30 until further notice

Saturday: Drill meet at Newton Conover ( be at the school by 6:30 am)

The 2020 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards application is now available!  Any student (9th through 12th grade) who has completed a volunteer project that you believe is worthy of recognition. Please see Mrs. Wakefield today.

10th graders interested in the N C School of Science and Math are invited to meet with an admissions counselor Monday September 23rd at 2 pm. See Mrs. Miller in the counseling department if you want to attend the meeting.

Juniors and Seniors can order class rings on Tuesday, September 24th during lunches in the cafeteria.  

Students can also bring their parents and order from 3-5:30pm outside the main office the same day.  

A $75 deposit is required to order.  Extra ring packets are in the office.  Students can also see all ring styles and prices at Jostens.com

Attention, those that signed up for the DECA club and are interested in competing in the regional competition need to see Coach Boston in Room 216 ASAP. 

If you have a 3.5 GPA or higher you should have received an invitation for Beta Club in your student email.  The email also contains important information regarding upcoming dates and when and to whom dues should be paid.  If you do not have an email but believe you should qualify please see Mrs. Hatton in room 343.

Mu Alpha Theta math honors society invitations have been emailed. If you received an invitation and want to join pay dues to Mrs. Kimberlin by next Wednesday to pick up your card.  If you have taken Honors Math 2 or a higher math class and have a B average in your math classes and did not receive and invitation but would like to join see Mrs. Kimberlin asap.

Any student interested in Quiz Bowl please pay Mrs. Kimberlin or Mrs. Bishop $5 before next Thursday

Emails have gone out to students nominated by teachers to serve as our student ambassadors for this school year.  If you received an email please come see Mrs Hatton in room 343 for your club card.  You will need this card in order to attend our first club meeting next week.  

SENIOR INFORMATION:

Last chance to paint your parking spot is TOMORROW from 10-1. See Mr. Hosfield for further details if you are interested. 

Order your cap and gown and other senior accessories next Tuesday, September 25th during lunches and from 3-5:30pm in the cafeteria.

Seniors...do you want help with a college application?  not sure where to start?  Ms. Vargus will be holding a College Application Workshop on Tuesday, September 24 at 5pm in Room 215.  Please make plans to be there.
