SAT word of the day is stint (stint). The meaning of stint is a period of time spent doing a particular job or activity; to restrict or hold back. Example: Thomas took up boxing during his ten-year stint in the army.

Juniors and Seniors can order class rings TODAY during lunches in the cafeteria. Students can also bring their parents and order from 3-5:30pm outside the main office the same day. A $75 deposit is required to order. Extra ring packets are in the office. Students can also see all ring styles and prices at Jostens.com
It’s not too late to sign up for the PSAT, we still have some open spots. Come see Mrs. Pippen in the main office if you are interested in taking the PSAT. The PSAT is open to Juniors, Sophomores, and Interested Freshman. The cost is $17. If you are thinking about taking college classes while in high school, it’s a great idea to take the PSAT. Scores can be used to help you be eligible to take CCC&TI courses. If you are looking at the Merit Scholarship, you must take the PSAT your Junior year.
This is a reminder that parking spots need to be paid by Monday, Sept 30. If you have not paid for your parking spot please see Mr. Hosfield during your lunch. Starting October 1st, parking tickets will be issued.
If you plan on attending SADD Club or College club on Thursday, please pick up your club card today from Mrs. Wakefield.
Students interested in Book Club or High School Battle of the Books need to see Mrs. Bowman or Mrs. Craven before this Thursday to get Club Card.

The West Caldwell Men's JV and Varsity teams both defeated Bunker Hill Yesterday. JV won 4 to 2. Scoring for the Warriors was Edward Castillo and Jerson Reyes. Great game JV, Coach Dyer and Coach Clark are proud of you guys!
The Varsity team won 9 to 1. Scoring for the Warriors was Fracesco Gonzales with 3 goals, Giovanni Rangel with 2 goals, Eleazar Zamora, Jose Ortiz, Aaron Montejo, and Eric Gamez all had 1 goal each!! Ben Chandler had 4 assists!! The Warriors are 3 and 0 in conference and have some huge games coming up!! Please let the players know you support them!!!
The Lady Warrior Tennis Team lost to Bunker Hill yesterday by a score of 6 to 3.
Winning in singles for the warriors was Alexandrya Bell. Winning in doubles was the team of Savannah Longo and Alyssa Hefner and also the team of Maura Miranda-Medina and Alexandrya Bell. good Luck to the Lady Warriors on Wednesday when they face East Burke.

Any girl interested in playing basketball come by the auxiliary gym this week to see Coach Mangum this week. There will be a brief informational meeting next Wednesday Oct 2 after school in the auxiliary gym.
