STUDENT INFORMATION:

Students, we will continue to issue parking tickets. Parking tickets will affect your ability to attend Prom and Graduation tickets.  Please see Mr. Hosfield for a parking pass ASAP. 

Students who ride a bus 1st load are NOT allowed to stay on for 2nd bus load.

Quiz bowl will practice this afternoon in room 313.

10th graders interested in attending the HOBY leadership seminar should see Mrs. Miller in the counseling office. The seminar is 4 days and costs $225.

Welcome to the Clubhouse!" That's right! We will have an entire week to turn back the clock and revisit the fairy tales of our dreams. After all, isn't that what homecoming is all about.....dreams? This is your Spirit Week Days:

Monday -Prince/Princess Day

Tuesday- Mickey and Minnie Mouse Day  Wear your mouse ears!

Wednesday is Disney Shirt day.

Thursday will be dress as a Disney Character Day.

Friday show your school colors as you dress for your class: Seniors wear black, Juniors wear gold/yellow, Sophomores wear blue, freshmen wear white

Make it a fun and Mickeywonderful week by participating in Spirit week! See you Friday night, the 18th, to find out who will be the 2019 - 2020 Homecoming Queen!

Any student or club who would like to help with the Haunted Hall at Collettsville on October 25 please see or email Mrs. Hatton as soon as possible.  

West Caldwell's JROTC is hosting their first blood drive of the year on October 22nd from 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM in the theatre. All donors will receive a $10 Chick-fil-a card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age to participate. Be sure to register during your lunch period today!

ROTC afterschool practice- Thursday-drill 3-4:30. Saturday is Warrior Invitational- All 1st semester cadets are required to attend.

If you are interested in joining the military after high school, please see you counselor or this week for information about signing up for the ASVAB.

SENIOR INFORMATION:

Seniors who are planning to attend a 4 year college, have a gpa of at least 2.0, and a family income of $55,000 or less, then check out the Horatio Alger scholarship link on the West Caldwell Scholarship page.  The deadline is October 25.

Seniors who are McKinney Vento, would you please see Mrs. Wakefield about the Schoolhouse Connection Youth Scholarship program?  Please see her this week about this $2000 scholarship.

"Seniors, have you already submitted a college or scholarship application, completed your RDS or FAFSA, or  registered for ACT or SAT, you may enter a raffle! In order to enter, please stop by Ms. Vargas office to get a ticket. Every Wednesday and Friday a winner will be announced. 

SPORTS:

The West Caldwell Men's soccer team got back on the winning track last night with an 8 to 0 victory over Patton. Scoring for the Warriors was Eleazar Zamora with 4 goals, Fracesco Gonzales, Giovanni Rangel, Ben Chandler, and Jose Ortiz all had one goal each. Fracesco had 4 assists. Eleazar and Josef Fernandez both added assists. 

JV Football will play at home against West Iredell. Come out and support your Warriors!

Winter track workouts will be on Tuesday and Thursday from 3-4 pm.  Meet in Coach Bowman’s room.
