STUDENT INFORMATION:

All CIS student that are planning to participate in Lunch Buddies must turn their permission in to Mrs. Gurnsey by Friday October 19. If you need a form, check the box outside Mrs. Gurnsey's door. Forms can also be turned in the box outside MRs. Gurnsey's door.

If you signed up to help with the Collettsville Haunted Trail please check your email for a message from Mrs Hatton with more details.  

West Caldwell's JROTC is hosting their first blood drive of the year on October 22nd  in the theatre. All donors will receive a $10 Chick-fil-a card. Donors must be at least 16 years of age to participate. Register during your lunch period.

Attn- Beta club members - if you signed up to attend the district convention next Tuesday Oct 22 you need to turn in your field trip form and money to Mrs. Hatton no later than TODAY.  Mrs. Hatton will be in either room 343 or the theatre.

Quiz Bowl will practice after school Monday October 21.

HOSA Announcements -All HOSA Members please download the Gmail app on your phones.  All club communications will be sent to your student email accounts.HOSA dues of $25.00 are due.  Last day to pay your dues will be Friday, October 25th. The HOSA club will meet after school on Wednesday, October 23rd, at 3:00pm.  The meeting will last approximately 30 - 45 minutes. HOSA members are invited to a meet and greet “Pumpkin Painting” activity on Tuesday, October 29th, in room 217 from 3pm – 5pm.  Cost is $5.00 (for a pumpkin).  Please turn money in by Friday, October 25th.

SENIOR INFORMATION:

Seniors have one week to submit their baby pictures to Ms. Storie in computer Lab 2. If we do not receive enough pictures, this section will be omitted from the yearbook. So please get your baby picture turned in ASAP!

Seniors who are planning to attend a 4 year college, have a GPA of at least 2.0, and a family income of $55,000 or less, then check out the Horatio Alger scholarship link on the West Caldwell Scholarship page.The deadline is October 25.

Seniors: Be sure to check your school email to vote for Senior Superlatives. Voting will end on tomorrow! The Yearbook Staff will then tally the votes and notify the winners sometime next week.

"Seniors, College Application Week starts next Monday. Please make sure to have your CFNC accounts set up so you can start applying to colleges. A good tip is to start on applications NOW and submit for FREE during College Application Week. On Wednesday, October 23rd, it will be College Application Day and you will have a chance to miss one class period to work on college applications in the media center. Ms. Vargas will be sending out more info soon." 

SPORTS:

Congratulations to the Warrior Soccer Team and Coach Clark and Coach Dyer. The Warrior soccer team defeated Bunker Hill last night 5 to 0. Eleazar had 2 goals, Fracesco, Gio, and Jose all added a goal. Fracesco had 4 assists! Good game guys!!

The Little Warriors JV soccer team tied 3 to 3. Edward Castillo scored all 3 goals. He scored because he ran fast like Forrest, not because anyone actually tried to pass the ball!!! Keep working boys!!

Indoor Track workouts will be today. Meet in Mrs. Bowman's room.

 JV Football will travel to Fred T. Ford.
